Stretch your legs and get out into nature on our Alisal Hiking Trail, which is beautiful from sun up to sun down and every moment in between.

The Alisal Hiking Trail is a 2.8 mile loop with 541 feet of elevation gain. It’s great for all skill levels, and the total hike time is roughly 1.5 hours.

The trailhead is located .4 miles from the Front Desk. To find it, walk along the paved roads behind the guest cottages. After you pass the last rooms of Golf View Studios, turn right onto the lake road (if you’re nearing the paved road with “Private Property” sign, you’ve gone too far). After turning right on the lake road, walk roughly one minute and the trail head is on your left hand side. Beyond the turnoff for the trail head, the lake road is only accessible to Alisal Ranch vehicles.

We always encourage guests to hike with a buddy, bring water, and have a cellphone with you. Stay alert for wildlife, and enjoy!
