We offer group medical, prescription, dental, vision and life insurance to full-time, regular employees who have completed their 60-day introductory period. Alisal pays the majority of the premium for eligible employees. Dependent coverage is also available, but the premium must be paid in full by the employee.
All full-time, regular employees have the opportunity to participate in our retirement savings plan, also known as a 401(k) plan. This plan allows employees to have up to 15% of their pre-tax earnings invested. The Alisal matches 50% of what the employee contributes.
The Alisal observes five paid holidays. If an employee works on a holiday they will be paid one-and-one-half times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
Full-time, regular employees accrue up to 10 days of paid vacation per year. After ten years of employment, employees accrue up to 15 days per year.
Sick pay is available to all full-time regular employees. Eligible employees may accrue up to 5 days of paid sick leave per year.
We offer a variety of low-cost employee housing accommodations to employees in good standing.
Employee Recreational Privileges
Employees are invited to participate in many of the recreational activities the Alisal has to offer. Some of these activities include fishing, golfing and tennis.
Some of our other benefits include jury duty pay, bereavement leave, school activities leave, family medical leave, and a continued education benefit. We also have an employee assistance program, employee referral program, and allow discounts of meals and merchandise at our retail shops.
