Employment Benefits

Insurance

We offer group medical, prescription, dental, vision and life insurance to Full-Time, regular employees on the first of the month following date of hire. Alisal pays the majority of the premium for eligible employees.  Dependent coverage is also available.

Retirement Plan

All employees have the opportunity to participate in our retirement savings plan, also known as a 401(k) plan. There is an option for pre-tax or Roth savings and Alisal matches up to 50% of what the employee contributes on a maximum deferral of 15%. *3yr vesting schedule.

Holidays

Alisal offers holiday pay to employees in all status categories. Temporary, On-Call and Part-Time receive one-and-one half times their hourly rate of pay for hours worked on the holiday and Full-Time receive 8hrs holiday pay in addition to all hours works on the holiday. *Policy terms apply.

Vacation

Full-Time employees accrue vacation after 90-days of employment.

Sick Pay

All employees accrue sick pay in accordance with California state law.

Housing

Alisal offers a variety of low-cost employee housing accommodations based on availability to employees in good standing.

Employee Recreational Privileges

Employees are invited to participate in many of the recreational activities Alisal has to offer. Some of these activities include fishing, golfing, horseback riding, and tennis.

Other Benefits

Some of our other benefits include jury duty pay, bereavement leave, school activities leave, family medical leave, and a continued education benefit. We also have an employee assistance program, employee referral program, and allow discounts of meals and merchandise at our retail shops.
