Experience a unique Alisal Ranch dining tradition with our California Ranch Cookouts, a summer culinary series that brings renowned guest chefs to showcase their signature dishes. Held on select weekends throughout the summer, these special events celebrate exceptional cuisine, great company, and the rustic charm of our ranch setting. 2026 dates are 5/30, 6/13, 7/11, 8/1, and 8/15.

On Cookout weekends, join us at the Oak Bar on Friday evening for a relaxed meet-and-greet with the featured chef, paired with delicious appetizers to set the tone for the weekend. Then, on Saturday, savor an unforgettable evening under the stars with a grand BBQ featuring the chef’s creations, refreshing drinks, live music, and dancing.

The 2025 summer lineup included culinary stars like Chef Drew Deckman in May, Chef Brian Malarkey in June, Chef Javier Plascencia in July, and Santa Barbara’s own Iron Chef Cat Cora. Stay tuned for the 2026 guest chef lineup!
