In celebration of our 80th anniversary and the release of our commemorative history book, Chapter & Hearth invites you beyond the familiar corners of Alisal for a rare evening deep within our 10,500 private acres.

Your journey begins beneath the sycamores at the ranch, where you’ll gather for a welcome cocktail before climbing aboard a hay wagon bound for our historic Adobe. Travel past Alisal Lake and beneath the Santa Ynez Mountains as the landscape unfolds around you—deer roaming the hillsides, bald eagles overhead and the modern world slipping farther away.

Along the way, discover stories of the land, the people who shaped it and the Jackson family’s generations of stewardship. Your destination is a secluded grove of ancient sycamores, where the historic Adobe, feels like a place suspended in time.

Raise a glass during cocktail hour, then gather at long tables beneath twinkling lights for an outdoor feast inspired by the ranch and the traditions that have brought people together here for generations.

As evening settles over the grove, enjoy live music, whiskey tasting, storytelling and cowboy poetry. The night concludes fireside, with after-dinner drinks and s’mores beneath a canopy of stars.

Dinner-Only Tickets

For those joining us just for the evening, a limited number of dinner-only tickets are available.

Dinner-only tickets are $190 per person (pre-tax and service fee) and include the full Chapter & Hearth experience and a copy of Alisal Ranch’s commemorative 80th anniversary coffee table book.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will incur a 50% charge.
